From time to time, SCAS will host or facilitate seminars for our members.
For example, our popular LimnoSeminar series with its unique format, compared to other science webinars. Each LimnoSeminar offers a featured limnology topic. During the first half of the webinar, an invited early-career researcher (ECR) will give a presentation on a featured topic, including a topic overview followed by their own related research. In the second half of the LimnoSeminar, the ECR speaker would join a moderated panel with 2 other limnologists that have expertise in the topic area. A SCAS moderator will read questions posed by the audience to the panel, and each panelist would have an opportunity to address each question.
A few seminars are listed below. For upcoming seminars, please complete the registration form Indicated for each seminar or seminar series, by clicking on the seminar title or click here to register for the entire LimnoSeminar series. All registered participants will receive an email with a Zoom link before the scheduled Seminar event.
With the permission of each speaker, recordings of past seminars will be posted to our SCAS YouTube Channel. |
